Back in June of 2024 Dr Ian and Dr Pauli traveled to Tanzania to visit both the Joyland Organization, a non-profit orphanage, and the Kilimanjaro Animal Rescue to perform a spay and neuter clinic. Joyland Organization

Founded in 2018, Joyland Organization has been dedicated to transforming the lives of children in need across Tanzania by providing education, healthcare, and safe housing. Operating with the support of volunteers and donations, Joyland works tirelessly to make a meaningful difference in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children.

Kilimanjaro Animal Rescue

What began as an accidental mission by a local facility dedicated to caring for special needs children, Kilimanjaro Animal Rescue has grown into a vital force for change in the lives of stray dogs. Initially rescuing a few dogs, the organization quickly found itself overwhelmed and created a separate facility solely dedicated to the care of these animals.

At Kilimanjaro Animal Rescue, they provide food, shelter, and veterinary care to stray dogs in need, ensuring they are healthy and ready for adoption into loving homes. Beyond rescue, their mission extends to raising awareness in the local community about proper dog care, promoting responsible pet ownership, and improving the lives of animals everywhere.
