Our practice is a certified Cat Friendly Practice by the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
What does this mean? A lower stress visit for your feline friend starting in the waiting room with separation between dogs and cats and the availability of calming pheromones. In the exam room we strive to employ feline approved treats and more mindful handling.

While our practice isn't Fear Free certified, we do have several members of staff who have taken a Fear Free course and a few who hold current certifications. All staff with current certifications can be viewed here with a Fear Free certification badge in their bio. These staff have committed to ensuring Fear Free handling is exhibited throughout the building as best as we can. This might mean offering plenty of diverse treats throughout your pet's visit or recognizing when a pet might need pre-visit medication to lower their stress levels when at the clinic.
